For selling single books on eBay with your inventory as the source of truth. Needs a Seller plan or above, and an eBay seller account with business policies already set up. Allow half an hour the first time, most of it on the eBay side.
1. Set up your eBay account first
In eBay Seller Hub, make sure you have a payment policy, a return policy, and a postage policy saved. eBay refuses fixed-price listings from accounts without them, and that refusal will surface here as a failed publish. Do this before connecting.
2. Connect eBay to Stash
Go to Settings → Marketplaces and click Connect with eBay. eBay asks you to sign in and approve access, then hands you back. The card shows as connected.

3. Get the books listing-ready
A listing needs your own photo of your copy. Catalog covers are deliberately refused, because a stock image of a book you are selling as a 9.2 is how disputes start. Grade honestly, add the flaws to the notes, and set the price you want.

4. Publish from inventory
Open an item, click Sell, tick eBay, then Publish. Stash builds the listing from the item and sends it. It goes live straight away, so check the item reads the way you want before you click.
You can select several books in the inventory list and publish them in one go.
5. Bring sales back in
On the eBay card in Settings → Marketplaces, click Sync Now. Stash matches eBay orders to your items by SKU, marks them sold, and records the order.
Do this after each sale or at the end of a selling day. Syncing is what keeps a sold book from still showing as available elsewhere.
6. Ship it and count it
Buy a USPS or UPS label from the sale itself once EasyPost is connected, and check the profit on the dashboard afterwards. Fees and postage come out of the margin, so the honest number is the one after both.

Gotchas
- Sales come in when you click Sync Now. Nothing polls eBay for you in the background yet.
- Publishing is immediate. There is no draft step inside Stash. Edit or end the listing in eBay.
- One physical copy, several channels. Logging the sale in Stash closes that book’s listings on your other channels, but you still have to pull it down at the other marketplace itself.
