Run the claim sale. Stop chasing the payments.

Show books on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok the way you already do. Stash tracks who claimed what, gives each buyer one pay link with a deadline, and moves unpaid books to the next person in line.

Quick answer

Stash Management's Claim Sales feature runs the back half of a comic claim sale: you add books from inventory, record claims or let buyers claim on a public sale page, and each buyer gets one pay link covering every book they claimed, with shipping added the way you charge it: per book or one flat amount. When a buyer pays, the order, the customer, and the sold books are recorded. When the payment window runs out, the books go to the next in line.

How it works

Inside the Claim Sales.

01

Create the sale

Click New claim sale, name it, and pick where you're running it (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, or Other). Time to pay, from 30 minutes to 7 days, is set once in your claim sale settings. Shipping is set in Shipping settings and starts at $7 per book.

02

Add books from inventory

Pick the books you're showing. Each cover carries its price in large type. Click the price to change it, including after a buyer talks you down.

03

Take claims two ways

Drag a cover to Claimed and enter the buyer's username. The pay link is copied, ready to paste in a DM. Or turn on the public sale page, put the link in your bio, a pinned comment, or a QR code on stream, and buyers claim and pay on their own.

04

First claim holds the book

The first claim holds the book. Later claims on the same book queue up as next in line.

05

One pay link per buyer

Every book a buyer claimed in the sale is on one pay link, with your shipping charge added. The pay page shows the books, shipping, total, and deadline. Pay now takes a card and collects the shipping address.

06

Paid or passed on

When they pay, the order lands in Orders, the buyer is saved in Customers with their address, the books are marked sold, and their listings on other channels are closed. When the window runs out, the books go to the next in line with a fresh window.

In practice

Real scenarios.

Scenario
A weekend Instagram claim post
Outcome
Enter each claim as the comments come in. A buyer who claimed six books gets one pay link for all six, shipping included.
Scenario
A YouTube live with a QR code on screen
Outcome
Viewers open the sale page, tap Claim, enter their handle and email, and go straight to payment. You keep talking.
Scenario
A buyer goes quiet
Outcome
The payment window runs out. The book goes to the next person in line with a fresh window, and the buyer is flagged next to their handle on your later sales.
Scenario
A regular pays in person
Outcome
Use Paid another way. The order is recorded and the books are marked sold. No address is collected.
FAQ

Claim Sales questions.

Does Stash read my Instagram comments or DMs?+

No. Stash does not read comments or DMs and does not post for you. A claim gets into Stash because you type it or the buyer claims on the sale page.

What happens when a buyer doesn't pay?+

When the payment window runs out, their books are released and go to the next person in line with a fresh window. If that person claimed on the sale page, they get the pay link by email. If you typed their claim, you copy the link and send it. Buyers who let a pay link expire are flagged on your later sales.

Does Stash take a cut of the sale?+

No. Stash takes no cut. The card processor's standard fee still applies to card payments.

Where can buyers pay from?+

Card checkout ships to US and Canada addresses. For a buyer who paid outside Stash, use Paid another way. It records the order and marks the books sold, without collecting an address.

Do I have to set up card payments?+

Only for card payment. It is a one-time setup in Settings. Without it you can still run a claim sale, track claims, and use Paid another way.

Which plan includes this?+

Claim Sales is included from the Seller plan ($19/mo) and on Shop.
